    Why you should attend

    Our conference is designed for your role as a medical clinic manager or director!

     Review descriptions of educational sessions 

    • Your once-a-year opportunity to chat with other members in person

    Important registration information

    • Members should log in to the website first to access member rates.
    • Program begins Wednesday morning and runs through Friday morning . We'll host an informal networking event on Tuesday evening.
    • We look after all your hotel reservations, with our access to discounted rates.
    • The conference package includes the educational program, two nights' accommodation (Wed & Thurs) at the all-suites Casino Rama Resort, and all meals.
    • A "no hotel accommodation" option is available for local delegates or for one of two colleagues who wish to share a double hotel guest room.
    • You may book extra nights (extra charge, but at group rates) during registration (choose Tues Sept 9, Fri Sept 12, and/or Sat Sept 13)
    • A companion (e.g., spouse, friend) registration fee is available to add during registration. (To join you at all meals/evening activities.)

    [SOLD OUT] The first 10 members to register who have never been to an in-person fall conference before can receive a 50% discount on the early bird package fee (regular rate $895). 

    Can non-members attend?

    Non-members who work with a current OMGMA member may attend at the non-member rate. Clinic managers and directors who do not yet have an OMGMA member on their team should join OMGMA, then attend at member rates.

    Each conference delegate should complete their own unique registration with a unique email address.

    Why you should attend

    • OMGMA has 240 members, all in leadership roles in group medical practices. They represent more than 3,000 physicians. We're expecting 90 to 100 managers to attend the conference.
    • Showcase your products and services during two dedicated trade show periods and join us at meals. Reconnect with your clients, meet prospects, and have valuable conversations with decision-makers.

    • Setup is Wednesday morning September 10 between 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Takedown is late morning on Thursday, then stay for the prize draw and lunch. 
    • A rough schedule of events is outlined in the info package. We'll post the final agenda here closer to the date.

      Your attendees

      • Your exhibitor package includes meals for one company representative, from Wednesday lunch through Thursday lunch. This includes our Wednesday evening dinner and networking event (and transportation to/from) at Glen Oro Farm. 
      • You may add extra representatives during registration. Flexible options are available for your additional people.

      • CAMH Customer Service and De-escalation Training [Sept 24 option]

        OMGMA has partnered with CAMH to improve access to their half-day, online workshop for front-line staff called Customer Service and De-escalation Training.

        Cost

        $299 per person (CAMH does not collect HST)

        Participants per workshop

        Maximum of 20

        CAMH is strict on this. Once the 20 spots are filled for each workshop date, new registrants can add themselves to a wait list. 

        Your organization will be limited to having a maximum of two people at any one workshop. 

        Registration info

        Front-line staff from OMGMA member clinics/teams should register individually with a unique email address.

        When we get a set of 20 participants for a workshop date, we'll hand over the registration list to CAMH and they'll communicate with the registrants from that point on.

        Important notes from CAMH

        • The workshop will be delivered virtually by the facilitators through WebEx (hosted by CAMH). Please ensure that your registrants have the proper technical support to view and participate in the workshop (i.e., a good internet connection and audio and video capabilities).
        • The workshops may not be recorded under any circumstances.
        • Participants must do some eLearning before the workshop (details will come from CAMH) and complete an evaluation survey after the workshop.

        • The high cost of training
        • Your small number of participants (i.e., not enough to get to the maximum of 20 participants and make it a cost-effective investment)
